Domes

Thursday we visited the Gardens by the Bay. This included the cloud forest, flower dome, and tree forest. It was tulipmania in the flower dome so I posted some tulip pictures for you Mom!

Well, it is another beautiful morning in Singapore!! We toured the Singapore Zoo yesterday. We saw 100's of animals and spend about 6 hours enjoying the playful activity of all of them. Here are a few pics to share. Jeff fed the giraffes and our lunch was the best food we have ever had at a zoo. Very different from our typical zoo food.

Monkeying Around!

Our jet lag exhausted us so much that we couldn't even post last night! It has given us a whole new meaning of tired. We had an awesome day yesterday! We explored the botanic gardens which has the largest display of tropical orchids in the world. Talk about breathtaking! The beauty far out ways any other garden that we have ever seen.

In the afternoon we went to do a challenging tree top adventure.  The adventure included zip-lines, rope ladders, tight ropes, and many other obstacles to get through. Strength, determination, and agility were all need! Unfortunately we weren't allowed to have our camera because we were so high up in the trees.

The international journey begins

We are waiting in Asheville for the first leg of our trip! :-)
